Summer League
A Summer Snooker League was started way back in 1981. This was a short-lived affair though which only lasted for two seasons. There were teams of 6 players competing on Thursday evenings from May through to October. In 1982 there were 12 teams in the league as shown in the scans below of the fixture booklets along with the first 3 weeks results.
